Mens fire circle and micro-dose

Come join us as we gather around the fire, as a circle of men. This will be a facilitated mens event with md offered.

When I gather with a circle of men around the fire, I see it as an opportunity to sharpen, soften and surrender.

To sharpen, is to connect with our inner warrior, the part of us that is fierce in the face of adversity. We will connect with the power and strength that lives within us, yet at times may feel out of reach. We tap into this place, not to force, override or push through adversity. Rather to gain the true inner strength and courage it takes to be vulnerable.

To soften, using the strength we just called upon, we allow ourselves to drop the mask, let go of the image we present to the world or even ourselves. By softening in this way, we attempt to gain a deeper understanding of an area of difficulty in our lives. For many men, the way we face difficulty, feeling of weakness or lack of clarity, is to use that power to push through the challenge. Yet here, we harness that inner strength to soften into where the true nature of the challenge lives within our psyche. When we approach an obstacle in this way, not pushing it away, we allow ourselves to see it for what is really is.

To surrender, if the rational conscious mind could easily solve the problems we face as men in the world, then the world would be a very different place. Sometimes we need to let go of what we think the solution is, and allow ourselves to be led by our inner knowing. The part of us, often unheard or unnoticed, that knows how to transform and grow.

There will be an opportunity for participants to share music or song, instruments welcomed.

Fruit and cacao will be provided.
